How to With an iPhone

If you have an iPhone 7 or newer, an NFC tag can be read within an NFC reading app (check out the Tag & Tap app, we hear it’s pretty much the best NFC reader on the market). iPhone XS and above have the ability to read NFC straight from the home screen without any need for a third-party app.

How to With an Android

For Android phone, NFC capabilities are already NFC capable. Simply go to your settings within your phone, search for NFC and make sure it is turned on. Then you will hold the NFC tag (either in the pet's hang tag or the label on the collar that says "Tap Phone Here" ). You will want to hold it around the middle to top of your phone to read the information on the phone.

For those Android users who did not find NFC within their settings, simply go to the Google Play Store and download the Tag & Tap app by clicking the button below.
